Simply add softened butter and a splash of milk to reach the consistency required. One 500g pack will make enough buttercream for approximately 24 - 36 cupcakes, depending on the amount on each one. This icing sugar can be used to make buttercream for larger cakes as well as cupcakes and you can also add colouring depending on your design. Add ordinary icing sugar to reduce the intensity of the flavour if required.
